About The Author
Cory Doctorow is a regular contributor to the Guardian, Locus, and many other publications. He is a special consultant to the Electronic Frontier Foundation, an MIT Media Lab Research Associate and a visiting professor of Computer Science at the Open University. His award-winning novel Little Brother and its sequel Homeland were a New York Times bestsellers. His novella collection Radicalized was a CBC Best Fiction of 2019 selection. Born and raised in Canada, he lives in Los Angeles.

Sean Cranbury is a writer, cultural manager, and literary event organizer. He has been an independent bookseller of one kind or another for more than 30 years; a timeline that runs parallel to the development of our modern browser-based experience of the internet. In 2009 Sean created a radio show and podcast called Books on the Radio and interviewed countless writers about their work including Cory Doctorow, William Gibson, Ian Rankin, and others. In 2010 Sean founded a local literary reading series called Real Vancouver that serves to celebrate and promote emerging and established writers from Vancouver and beyond. The series continues to this day. Sean’s writing has been featured in the Vancouver Sun, Sad Mag, Poetry is Dead Magazine, CBC, and in countless digressive threads across the internet. He lives on the ancient and unceded territories of the Coast Salish peoples of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations with his partner, Carleigh Baker, and an opinionated bunny.
