I’ve been writing it since 2011. It’s up to version 3.1 as of this writing; I have plans for version 4.0. I haven’t written myself into a corner yet\, and I can see many exciting possibs. It’s not an AI—if a requirement of AI is that it learns; some say it is; others say it’s sufficient that the program seems intelligent. The person using Aleph Null is required to do the learning—like you learn how to play an instrument or use a tool—and Aleph Null is\, well\, more about being beautiful than intelligent.
